The rapidly evolving security landscape demands faster innovation and stronger cooperation between Northern European nations. Uncrewed and autonomous systems are essential for effective modern naval operations – especially in dangerous, difficult and decisive situations.

NNCC accelerates capability adoption through joint roadmapping, implementing naval materiel standards, facilitating joint procurement and driving collaborative R&D initiatives. The establishment of SeaSEC as an independent experimentation center demonstrates NNCC’s most recent impact.

NNCC is powered by the Ministries of Defence from the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. We work alongside national defence and technology industries, and leading Re-search and Technology Organizations from across the region.
